Wild Swimming
This has become more popular and is the practice of swimming in natural waters -rivers, lakes,old quarries, the sea and outdoor lidos. There are many local clubs that welcome new members. For more information check out:
Assault Course
This is a test of fitness, agility, planning and team work. Organisations run courses at various levels and Club members have in the past participated in the well known Royal Marine 'Commando Challenge' which is organised for charity.
