What a Wonderful day to be on the water. A gentle kayak up the Yealm and along the creak (with paddles). So relaxing, in great company and with water clear enough to see the bottom. Thanks to Jane for organising the event (and I believe to Ellie for starting it off).
Despite some inclement weather the tent went up, the club was promoted, new friends were made and some members actively took to the water, others scrambled over rocks and scoured the beach to collect & share their edibles, others handed out posters and chatted to passersby.
A wonderful morning at Bigbury. Weather warm, sea calm, breeze light, and company great. Thanks to Kay for organising it and to everyone that came for making it such a success. Apparently, we were praised by the instructor for all having a go, succeeding and not being needy.
A most enjoyable walk in East Devon , a calm sunny day with fantastic visibilty along the Jurrasic coast from the pebbled heaths above East Budleigh.
A perfect evening on Sunday for our night walk on Dartmoor and seeing the super moon - the clouds broke up and we turned all torches off to enjoy the spectacle - fantastic shadows and brightness Thanks to John for leading the walk and Helen for organising the evening with a Christm
What a fun day. Cold water, gorse bushes, hard and slippy rocks, deep pools and amazing people all willing to 'have a go'. If there was a pool there was at least one bobbing challenger making the most of it. Lets do it all again next year :)
Thanks to organiser Kay, we spent a few hours kayaking up the River Dart in mixed weather with tides assisting and battling against us, but it was thouroughly enjoyable, challenging and such good fun.
Lovely way to spend an evening canoeing on the river Dart
Always a delight - a day on Dartmoor at this time of year when the weather is favourable . We set off from Cold East Car Pk on the electric bikes with our guide Inga .
We had perfect weather for this 5 mile walk with spectacular views and abundant wild flowers - Bluebells evrywhere and Jo spotted a Stinkhorn fungus or shall I say smelt it ! .
